• Develop, implement, and oversee online strategy to support company mission and increase online visibility
• Drive online strategy
• Develop benchmarks and measurable goals as part of an overall comprehensive online strategy; measure and track organizational progress against these goals
• Lead the development of the web site, overseeing content, architecture and design
• Understanding of supporting technology for online programs
• Manage existing and possibly growing team of online specialists
• Experience managing and driving strategies for email, eCRM, fundraising, advocacy, and CMS systems
• Oversee all online technology including CMS, eCRM, email, fundraising, and advocacy functionality
• Manage and ensure consistent messaging across all online properties and channels including Web site, blogs, intranet, microsites, and social networking venues
• Develop, manage, and oversee Web 2.0 and blog outreach program
• Work with a team to help achieve their objectives and ensure the needs of Advocacy, Development, International Programs and Resettlement are met
• Research, track, and work to implement new trends in online technology
• Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for strategic partnerships with other outside agencies

Experience: • Undergraduate or advanced degree in communications, international relations, or a related field or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in online organizing, fundraising , or related field
• Proven track record of engaging constituents with online tools
• 5+ years managing a large team
• Assertiveness with “managing up” and “selling” new ideas internally
• Online or direct marketing experience
• Proven knowledge of international affairs and humanitarian issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage working relationships diplomatically
• Solid organizational and time management skills: ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work setting
• Experience overseeing large online initiatives
• Experience with Web publishing and eCRM tools
• Experience with reporting and analysis of online performance: Web site statistics, email conversion and donation conversions
• Proven understanding of the effective use of non-profit technology and Web 2.0 concepts in online fundraising, list building, advocacy, and marketing.
