MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has responsibility for the Information Technology Department of New York. In addition, the Information Technology department is the IT service provider for Global Finance, which has different offices in the United States and Europe. The successful candidate will also perform functions as specified below for transactions and activities as required with respect to North America.
The primary role is to support the daily business by allowing a smooth flow of the information in and out of the company and facilitate such flow by proposing, implementing and monitoring technical solutions to existing problems and business processes. Another important task is to study our activities and to anticipate the business needs.
Additionally, Technology plays a key role in Business Continuity and Recovery Planning.
The candidate is responsible for preparation & execution of the IT budget.
Key responsibilities/goals:
Manage the groups.
Manage Tech Support, Engineering & Development Teams
Oversee Compliance Projects.
Ensures Technology Serves the Business as a comprehensive Solution Provider with an emphasis on World Class Service.
Head up the IT Steering Committee
Head of IT Change Management Committee
Head of IT Project Management Committee.
This function reports to the CEO.
Experience: JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:.College degree required. MBA Preferred
Job Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Information Systems and Banking Products. Trading Systems are a plus.
Minimum 8+ years of experience
Management Skills: Ability to manage a team of approximately 20 people and lead a large variety of complex projects.
Strong Decision making abilities.
Ability to work within pressure and time sensitive periods.
