Our client is looking for a <b> Senior Systems Engineer </b> with 7+ years of experience. The Systems Engineer is responsible for working directly with the Infrastructure team with architectural design, technical strategy, and senior support for a Microsoft server environment. The Engineer will be a member of the infrastructure team behind the technology strategy and design. Interaction with all levels of the infrastructure team and senior management requires that the candidate have exceptional communication skills and an entrepreneurial attitude. Disaster recovery planning and design experience is also key. Skills and experience in the following are required: <br><br>

Experience: • Excellent knowledge with Windows Server 2000/2003 Infrastructures as well as migrations. <br>
• Experience with VMWare ESX a must. <br>
• Experience with Citrix a must. <br>
• Experience with server virtualization <br>
• Active Directory 2003/2007 <br>
• Microsoft Clustering and Load Balancing <br>
• Working with multiple versions of Linux (Redhat, Fedora) a strong plus. <br>
• Experience with NetApps Storage. <br>
• Experience with SAN technologies (ex. EMC SAN) <br>
• Active Directory support/design with non standard Group Policy Creation. <br>
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005<br>
• Experience with SharePoint Server <br>
• Blackberry Enterprise Server <br>
• IIS and transaction based application server technologies <br>
• Server Hardware knowledge (HP, Dell, Compaq). <br>
• SAN and NAS technology <br>
• At least one of the following: MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNE, CNA are highly desirable
