Description Business/Finance Analyst Job Description : Work as part of the FID IT team supporting the FID IT Line Business Management function. Primary responsibility includes maintaining, analyzing and explaining data and models representing the IT Project Portfolio: Book of Work, associated budgets and headcounts. FID IT is responsible for developing and supporting technology solutions used by the Fixed Income business world-wide. Qualifications : 1+ years experience supporting IT PPM function in Financial Industry/Investment bank. Familiarity with Information Technology environment, processes and activities. Advanced Excel skills : calculations, data analysis, pivots, data aggregation, charting and creating reports is the key to this role. IT Project Portfolio management. Ability to self-motivate self-manage and meet agreed deadlines for deliverables. Communications, coordination, time management. Ability to develop relationships with internal clients to understand and address their needs. Strong MS Word and Written Presentation Skills - report layouts and formatting. Desirable Skills : IT Project Portfolio lifecycle and governance. Experience with MS PowerPoint and MS Access. Prior Budget experience: maintain breakdown of budgets, budget transfer requests, etc. Any experience with Expense controls (invoices, T&E claims, etc.).
