Our client, a worldwide leader in Sports Media & Broadcasting is seeking a Lead .NET Developer for a long term project building and developing large-scale, high-volume digital media web applications.? This person will be responsible for:
. Designing, implementing, testing and maintaining features of several large-scale commercial digital web sites and the internal systems used to create them
. Ability to work as part of a small group with a clear charter to meet specific business needs. Work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
. Lead complex projects, defining the schedule and assigning tasks to four or more developers
. Must be familiar with HTML, XML, and related technologies, as well as Microsoft development tools and platforms
. Work independently with limited supervision. 3-5 years in software development, with experience as a Development Lead
. Experience developing major, large-scale commercial websites using Microsoft .NET technologies
. Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, C++/C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SQL
. Familiarity with web server performance and configuration, OO design, .NET best practices, unit testing, software life cycles
. Sports-related media and/or entertainment experience is a plus
. BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
