A well known financial services company based out of New York City is looking for a Middleware Developer.
Job Description:
As a Middleware Services developer in PB/PWM Shared Services, you will have
responsibilities that include technical analysis, design, and build related to the
middleware component of PB/PWM initiatives. PB/PWM Shared Services is
responsible for all build efforts related to the creation, maintenance, distribution,
and Straight Through Processing (STP) of Private Bank/Private Wealth Management
data.
Work will include all aspects of software development lifecycle with a focus on
Java development using J2EE standards. Candidate must have a solid
understanding of middleware messaging technology with proven experience
working in a multi-tiered environment. Candidate should be well versed in
testing techniques and be able to produce comprehensive test cases for all
developed code. Candidate must also support and participate in system and
integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises. Candidate should be capable
of producing solid documentation both inside code and external design specifications.
Experience: Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with IBM Datapower XI50 appliance (at least 2 years)
Hands-on experience with iWAY Service Manager (at least 2 years)
Proficient in Java development (at least 3 years)
Proficient in MQ messaging technology
Strong understanding of J2EE server technologies: web services, spring
framework, xml, EJB, JMS
Knowledge of Sybase (at least 3 years)
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle process
Knowledge and experience in SOA Technology including various architectures, languages, tools and applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
Team player
Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
