Senior Conversion and Integration Project Manager in New York, NY

One of SGA s major financial clients is seeking a Conversion & Integration Project Manager for a 3 to 6 month contract to hire position in New York, NY. The person selected for this role will be responsible to ensure that the: conversion of the business from its current platform to the new Platform is undertaken successfully, ie on-time, on budget and to the satisfaction of the business; The candidate is expected to build the project team necessary using an onand off-shore resource mix Project is integrated and coordinated into a larger project; Technology Integration Organization standard processes and procedures are followed throughout the project.
Skills Required:
-This is a very senior position and therefore we expect candidates to have highly developed project management, business and technical experience spanning over 12-15 years, specifically: Knowledge of the Wealth Management or Asset Management business across multiple asset classes and the full trading, custody, reporting lifecycle in multi-currency environments; Management of large and complex programs and projects coordinating staff that report directly as well as being able to actively direct, influence and communicate with other key staff essential to the program but not direct reports; Technical knowledge of data structures in the Wealth Management business arena: accounts, parties, holdings, tax lots, trades, journals, documents, entitlements etc. Technical knowledge of databases and ETL capabilities, the ability to oversee the design and implementation of conversion capabilities and associated test plan and case development and execution. Prior business conversion experience is a definitive plus
