Investment Bank is searching for an individual who will function as a Project Manager/Technical Lead on a large legacy mainframe application used for backoffice trade support and cash DDA processing. This individual should have a minimum of 15 years experience within a financial services firm with at least 10 years of IT project leadership experience. A solid history of managing development, support, enhancements and troubleshooting is required. Previous experience leading an offshore team with proven track record for producing quality deliverables, on time and on budget. Required knowledge of financial accounting and general ledger processing. Process driven with SDLC and CMM framework. Knowledge of HP Project Portfolio Management system and global cash accounting and processing a strong plus. Strong background and experience in mainframe systems and technologies, in particular COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQSeries.
The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources, Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
