Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the VP of Program Management, the Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing the implementation of one or more small to medium sized projects including the definition, development, delivery and deployment of quality solutions to meet Business Unit (BU) customer needs (including changes to agreed requirements) and that are compatible with business drivers defined by the business. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manages:
Project team members report directly into their appropriate Manager or Senior Manager from an Employee Relations perspective. However, the Project Manager does have matrix management responsibilities for the assigned project team members and their project related assignments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Organizational Performance
? IT Business Expertise
? Performs routine data collection, organization, workflow and support analysis
? Provides direction/support for the preparation of quality deliverables
? Leads and applies established methodologies to assignments
? Ability to define workflow for improvements and resolving issues
? Documents and presents project status
? Operational Management
? Coordinates expectations and deliverables on infrastructure projects
? Manages personal and group time in Expense Plans/project work (area of expertise)
? Maintains expected levels of personal productivity
? Supports special assignments and analysis related to initiative
? Able to assure smooth functioning of processes and procedures
? Ability to analyze data, trends or obstacles and consider available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding

2. Project Management
? Supports department?s activities
? Understands products/services and shares knowledge with team
? Builds personal expertise
? Continually improves knowledge and skill proficiency
? Supports department?s business development/support activities
? Provide a disciplined approach to project management utilizing Company standards, methodologies and tools

- Develops and maintains project plans with accurate estimates of effort required to meet customer needs
- Identifies, documents and manages risks
- Regularly communicates project status
- Manages the generation, collection, dissemination and ultimate disposition of project metrics
? Controls expenditures for all projects under their control
? Manages sign-off process and obtains all approvals required for projects under their control
? Continually assesses the demand for skills required to adequately support projects under his or her control

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Key Experiences/Achievements
a) A Bachelor?s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
b) 3 or more years of project management responsibility, demonstrating leadership skills and managing technical staff and financial resources through various life-cycle phases (cross functional experience highly desirable)

c)2 or more years of information systems or relevant business experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.

d) 2 or more years of management experience in which one or more of the following has occurred:
? Successful development and implementation of applications in new computing architecture environments using new and emerging technologies
? Demonstrated competency in managing resources to meet project goals
a)Experience planning, developing, managing workplans and budgets
b)Experience managing systems development/implementation in new computing architectures and environments (e.g., client/server, Web)
c)Formal project management training/certification (e.g., Project Management Institute) highly desirable.
