Description Consultant - Applications Support Manager (OptimISE) Job Description The International Securities Exchange (ISE) is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join our team as a Consultant Application Support Manager. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to plan, direct, train, coordinate and supervise the duties of team members to achieve maximum efficiency and output. He/she will be responsible for the deployment and configuration of trading applications in the test and production environments, as well as the completion of operational acceptance testing. Responsibilities include: Perform the implementation and configuration of application software changes changes Manage group's assigned project activities by setting priorities and organizing workload to meet deliverables efficiently and effectively Define and execute Operational Acceptance Test plans based on technical requirements for trading applications and operational support tools Coordinate, document and report daily test activities and support metrics Troubleshoot and assist in the mitigation and escalation of incidents in test and production Serve as problem manager for production application issues Provide level II technical support This position will require regular interaction with various support groups, end-users and management of all levels Required Experience Required Experience 10+ years experience supporting applications on Linux and Windows environments In depth experience in diagnosing and solving software/hardware operational problems and in determining course of action required. Change management, release and deployment management experience Application software testing experience Scripting knowledge (preferably Perl ) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and project management skills Understanding of ITIL framework and processes preferred Bachelor's degree in related field
