Description Our client a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services is seeking a Sr Mainframe Environment Operations IT Lead Location: NY , NY Contract Position Bachelors Degree This role is hands on role for Mainframe IT Operation support for test environment. This person will be responsible for providing daily IT Operations support, resolve batch issues, provide data capture, resolve CICS, DB2 or VSAM issues. Manage onsite and offshore teams. This role is all hands on. Role SKILLS REQUIRED: Mainframe IT operation support with 8 years + experience. Solid understanding of Mainframe platform with hands on experience in: JCL, DB2, MVS, FileAID, SPUFI Subset Tables and Files (stage SQL/parms in Changeman) Prepare Job Schedules Process ChangeMan Packages (promote, demote, revert, modify dates, etc.) Process Scheduling, DASD, and CICS Requests Resolve Batch Job Problems, provide batch support Analyze Job and Data Requirements and layout timeline/plan
