Support and maintain Servers in a distributed environment. Succcessful consultant will be responsible for problem resolution, performance tuning and analysis, proactive problem prevention, detection, circumvention and resolution to root cause. Provide application of software patches as well as release and version upgrades of operating systems and associated software to maintain currency and enhance reliability and supportability. You will also handle system security, integration, analysis, architecture, and network support. FOCUS IS: - 24x7 Production Support of Solaris/AIX environment. - Experience with Veritas products such as : Volume Manager, Cluster System, Cluster Filesystem. This includes upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting and tuning. - Familiar with SRDF configuration and operation. - Troubleshoot problems/issues; such as I/O, Memory, CPU usage and behavior. - Provide proactive solution in tuning , capacity, and monitoring - AIX experience is a big plus.
