Ajilon is looking for Application Developer for a contract position in Brooklyn,NY.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
Experience: This consultant will be working on preparing the i-Vault Core Archives software components to interface with RTS Application and Infrastructure Monitoring Dashboard. His/her Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
1. Preparing detailed documentation of the data collection/monitoring tools that are currently used by the Core Archives (Tivoli, Best1, application logs etc.).
2. Identifying and documenting the key performance indicators (infrastructure and application) for each archive.
3. Developing the necessary applications/scripts to extract and "package" application level data (DB2 logs, OnDemand/CM logs etc.) that will be required by the RTS dashboard.
4. Work with the various Archive supports teams (Operations, application and UNIX) to define the dashboard presentation requirements for each system).
