As part of a systems integration team for a Financial Markets Trade Solutions team, the Calypso Architect will be responsible for the following: End to end design of the Calypso-based solution appropriate for the client's Hardware/Software environment; Integration of Calypso with other internal systems and third party independent software vendor products; management of development, unit testing and SIT support; providing oversight of all technology development activities. Candidates must be within commutable distance to NYC and willing to take on 80-100% travel if/as needed.
Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 6+ years IT experience and 3 years experience in the Financial Services industry. Experience must include Calypso application, architecture and API capabilities. Additional experience should include: Java, J2SE/J2EE architecture; Multi Threading; Swing; Architecting real-time trading applications; Object-Oriented Architecture Design; Service-Oriented Architecture; Middleware (Tibco/WebM/MQ) and Design Patterns.
