Job Duties:
Notify Monitoring Center at problem resolution.
Point of contact for Level 3 Sys Admin.
Pro-active application, subsystem, and batch monitoring using IBM strategic tools.
Change Management (participate not implement).
Maintain QMX procedures and documentation, and implement recommendations for improvement.
Provide 24x7x365 support for local resources and Level 3 support (includes hands & eye)
Standard Recovery Management for outages, includes working with the Duty Managers in their Alert process.
Problem Management (Follow Sev. 1 issues to resolution as required by the Problem process)
Provide Distributed Server Operations Level 2 supports for Internal and Commercial accounts. (Includes complex problem solving and recovery steps)
Conduct operations shift to shift turnover and maintain daily checklist/activity logs.
2nd shift
(Weekend work will be required.)
