At this time we are looking to staff two (2) Business Analyst openings with a large and successful bank in the Buffalo, NY area.
Our client is in the 2nd phase of a multi-phase implementation of a billing system that serves a global community. A summary of the daily responsibilities will include:
1) Analysis of business needs for the development and/or enhancement of a new billing application.
2) Create business specifications to be used as a basis for developing comprehensive test plans to ensure the integrity of system enhancements.
3) Developing and maintaining technical and user level documentation for the usage of systems created and/or enhanced.
4) Responsible for participating and in some cases leading conference calls for the purposes of training a world-wide user community of these billing applications.
5) Create training material in MS-PowerPoint & Ms-Word.
6) Report development using MS-Excel.
7) Ensuring data integrity.
8) Testing.
Our client is in the process of relocating several hundred jobs to Buffalo and this opportunity will strategically position the successful candidate(s) for future career growth.
Experience: CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
. 2-5+ year of overall banking or financial experience
. A.A.S., or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance and/or MIS
. Ability to quickly grasp operational processes and understand training requirements
. Strong organizational and good project coordination skills
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, across diverse audiences and management levels
. Process improvement experience
. Ability to provide leadership in a fast-paced, changing environment
. Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
. Comfort level with technology and the Internet
. Experience in the Cash Management suite of products
. Highly PC literate
. Excellent prioritization capabilities
. Must have a very good working knowledge of MS-Word, MS-Excel & MS-PowerPoint
