Position Title:
Executive Level Desktop Analyst
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is created to support our high profile clients and employees in difficult computer and computer peripheral issues that hinder our clients and employees from their daily business.
MAJOR DUTIES:
The Desktop Analyst will be responsible for daily support of desktops, laptops, hardware and software for clients. The Analyst will be assigned computer issues that may be escalated from the Help Desk which require an onsite visit. You will support software applications and end user productivity tools to maximize effectiveness of these tools. Must possess good problem solving skills and be able to evaluate situations quickly leading to fast and accurate resolutions.
This position will be heavily involved with interacting with high profile clients in stressful situations and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Desktop Analyst will work closely with the IT Service Manager, Senior Desktop Analysts, and other PC Support staff to provide support as required to ensure timely resolution of end client issues.
Daily reporting to the White Plains or Queens office location (depending on assignment) and working with the clients.
QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER:
Preferred educational should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience with desktop support (with 3 years supporting at the executive level).
The Desktop Analyst must have a thorough knowledge of computer systems, hardware, operating systems, and software. Familiarity with networking is a plus.
MCP/MCSE/A+ cert. preferred.
Personal traits should include having the ability to work towards a resolution with users even under stressful conditions. Must possess good communication skills Be able to work in a high profile and fast environment.
