Basic Function:
M&T Bank's Telephone Banking Department is looking for a Programmer/Analyst to perform routine analysis, design, programming, and implementation on systems and procedures to solve routine business or scientific problems.
Responsibilities:
Review users' hardware/software requirements, making and implementing recommendations based on business needs and Bank standards.
Work with user areas to develop enhancements to existing systems.
Work with vendors on system problem resolution, and vendor release updates.
Perform other related projects.
Occasional travel (5%).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in MIS/CIS or IT
- 3 years programming experience in .net, SQL and/or MS Access
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good written and verbal communications skills
Ideal Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- Knowledge of Novel networking
- Knowledge of Java programming
- Telecommunication knowledge
