Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions :
This candidate will lead the DBA group supporting the BAE Platform Solutions account. The candidate will participate in development and support ongoing projects in regards to DBs. Supported technologies: Oracle Apps, OEM, Oracle Data Warehouse, Grid Control, and other internal Oracle DBs. This candidate will be a hands-on lead DBA and will be a part of the on-call rotation.
Experience: Basic Qualifications:
(2 - 3 yrs) - Leadership
o Task management of DBAs, on-site and remote
o Participation in project scheduling and management
o Interfacing with client
o Team building
o Providing technical direction
(5+ yrs) - Oracle DB Administration
(2 3 yrs) - Backup and Recovery using RMAN, SQL Backtrack
(1 - 2 yrs) - Unix shell scripting
