Financial Systems Specialist
Description: To provide financial application support and development for the company.
Duties and Attributes of Candidate:
• Responsible for application administration for the internal Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Essbase applications. This includes:
• Organization structure management
• New Application requirements (chart of accounts, logic/rules, categories/scenarios, etc.)
• Report Writing (Enterprise & Essbase) and Analyzer (web queries)
• Data Integration with other systems
• Data Integrity (Lock & Unlocking of Data)
• Provide systems and application support to corporate and end users for all financial systems application.
• Help train and give proper financial systems orientation to new employees as well as other corporate employees.
• Work closely with IT support to ensure all financial application hardware is running efficiently.
• Must be able to manage several projects at once and assist when special projects arise.
• Must have very strong troubleshooting skills and be able to work independently when necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have the ability to evaluate situations and determine best course of action. In the case of problems, evaluate and determine solutions/options and escalate, as appropriate, on a timely basis.
• Comfort with accounting and financial terms.
Some product skills to be evaluated:
Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer, SQL, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft Sharepoint Server, and Microsoft Office products including Access.
