. Management of small development teams consisting of staff, onshore and/or offshore developers
. Manages deliverables from external consulting companies
. Responsible for analyzing assigned tasks, providing work estimates, and managing time to keep development on schedule
. Responsible for weekly status reports
. Strong communication skills a must
. Developers also act as primary line of support for this application, so some experience in end-user support is desirable
Experience: EXPERIENCE:
. Minimum 3 years experience managing development teams on large-scale software projects
. Minimum 5 years experience developing applications in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0/.net environment
. Experience with C++, C#, OpenGL, WxWidgets, Python, MS SQL Server, MSMQ
. Experience with broadcast engineering (Harris/Louth automation, graphics systems) a plus
. Entertainment industry experience a plus
EDUCATION:
. Computer Science degree, MS preferred
