Our client is seeking a Manager of Investor Relations to be responsible for interaction with investors and the media regarding company information as well as financial results. The Manager will be the key point of contact for institutional and individual investors and must be able to respond to many queries independently, yet you will be expected to recognize when to escalate issues to the CFO or other Senior Management.
Beyond investor communications, the Manager of Investor Relations will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategy and all related tools and systems. The Manager will be responsible for the Company’s IR presentations, the IR portion of the Company’s website and annual reports and will also play the principal role in organizing events such as annual shareholder meetings, etc. This position will require a highly organized and naturally curious self-starter with strong analytical skills who enjoys daily challenges and is persistent as well as resourceful in getting to the right answer.
Additional Responsibilities:
Preparation of earnings releases and coordination of quarterly earnings calls.
Preparation of investor presentations.
Preparation of board presentations.
Preparation of annual reports.
Ad-hoc projects and analysis.
Doing whatever needs to be done to move a dynamic, fast growing business forward.
Experience: A hands-on investor relations professional with experience in the Investor Relations function of a public company.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in business related field
Financial analysis background
Ability to quickly analyze, grasp and communicate financial and economic information about the company and industry
Knowledge of compliance with Regulation Fair Disclosure
Technically proficient
A track record of building effective relationships with investors and analysts
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
