Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Senior AJAX Web Developer for a contract or contract to hire opportunity in Manhattan. This person will be working in a leading niche social networking space developing user-centric web application interfaces using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
We are looking for someone who can help with several new product launches for the upcoming year. This person will develop and code templates, CSS and social networking apps. The will maintain a clean, well structured front-end web base for our client's web sites. Knowledge of SVN, SVK, CVS or other revisioning systems is a plus.

Experience: 3+ years of web application development
Experience building web applications using AJAX
Expertise in user-interface development and user-centered implement
Expert HTML, CSS, Flash, and JavaScript skills
Previous experience working with a templating system (Smarty, HTML:Mason, Template:Toolkit, or Drupal)
Expertise in building Cross-browser applications
Ability to debug code as needed.
