We are seeking an Application Support Specialist. This newly-created role is responsible for providing the highest level of application support for company members using Great Plains Accounting and Online HRIS System and Payroll software. This position reports to the IT Manager, and it will serve as general application support for all company members. Responsibilities include: Serve as the primary liaison between company members and vendors to ensure needs are met; manage system updates, backups, patches, and upgrades; work with managers to develop access control; assist in creating training materials and provide training as needed; determine application support needs and build plan to address needs; and research and implement new technologies and applications to streamline operations. Some travel will be required
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years related experience is required. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Great Plains, GP Report Writer, GP Report Writer, MS SQL, GP Report Writer, FRX Financial Report Writer, Excel, and Access. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization, be approachable, work collaboratively, and lend support to the IT team when needed.
