My client, a Marketing Organization located in downtown Manhattan, is in need of a Network Engineer/Administration with at least 3 years of <B>HANDS ON </B>experience. The company's environment consists of several hundred servers dealing with Cisco Routers and Switches. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently on issues but also communicate clearly to senior members of the team. Also, interfacing with internal/external parties and vendors will be required. The ideal candidate should posses a high level of analytical, communicational, and troubleshooting skills. The following skills are required for this position:

Experience: <br>
<br>
- Provide maintenance, configuration, design, and implementation of the network infrastructure. <BR>
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers and switches <BR>
- Excellent understanding and hands on experience with <b> Windows 2000 and 2003</b> server environment <br>
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze LAN/WAN connectivity problems, including DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS. <br>
- Understanding VPN support and configurations <br>
- Knowledge of VoIP systems a huge plus. <br>
- Create documentation of specific fixes and work done on infrastructure. Create reports on resolution of problems and requests. <BR>
- Certifications that are highly desired are CCNA; CCNE; CCNP; Net +.

Our Client is looking for somebody to START IMMEDIATELY and be able to take on more responsibility as the Network Administrator gets more comfortable in the role.
