Client Server ProgrammerUNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Client Server Programmer to join our Albany, NY team. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of two years experience with Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Development, N-tiered client/server development, web services development, and development work in Oracle 9i-10g or higher, Windows NT/2000/XP, and GUI. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:1) The primary responsibility for this position will be creating, maintaining, and deploying ad hoc reporting functions and assisting with the creation of reports against numerous databases, using Cognos and other reporting software tools. 2) The person in this position will help maintain the current reporting and Tracking System Catalogs, models, and cubes (via Cognos software including ReportNet and Cognos 8). 3) Create new Models and Catalogs as needed. 4) Create and maintain subject area PowerPlay cubes. 5) Publish reports and Powerplay cubes to Web Environment. 6) Provide customer support and technical assistance.
