basic function:as part of m&t’s ncs infrastructure technology division, the networking computer senior analyst would be part of a team that is responsible for working with customers across the organization on problem resolution within network computingresponsibilities:the network computer senior analyst will be charged with ensuring “cross-team” coordination between various engineering disciplines for severity 1&2 problems and for multi-disciplinary problems within network computing, and other engineering/development teams when necessary. this position serves as the escalation liaison to the data processing operations departmentthis position is responsible for the bank wide monthly ms bau security patching processthis position is also responsible for managing vendor relationships from a support perspectiveother duties would include participating in and/or providing leadership for technology projects for the ncs department, including developing design specifications and/or recommendations for systems infrastructure based solutionsbasic qualifications:bachelors degree or above in a computer related field or have at least 4+ years experience in a related professional environmentminimum 7 to 10 years experience in a position requiring a high level of technical and project expertisestrong foundation in pc and server technologies (such as win xp pro, ms office, vpn, netware, linux operating systems, novell, and groupwise)ms internet explorer along with additional network technologiestechnical and conceptual understanding of telecommunications networks, topologies and protocolsstrong organizational skillsstrong time management skillsproven customer service experienceexcellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to a target audienceideal qualifications:ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical termsmust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionmust be a self-starter with the ability to effectively manage and optimize time
