Our recruiting firm client, eHire, is urgently recruiting a Senior Software Developer for an investment bank in Jericho, NY.
Required Skills:
-5+ years total software development experience
-Demonstrated ability architecting n-tier applications
-Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design concepts
-Established ability creating highly normalized relational data models
-Proven experience with the full life cycle of the application development
-Experience with user requirements definitions, needs analysis & software mock-up systems
-Strong hands on knowledge of Microsoft development technologies
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Preferred to have experience developing financial applications at an investment bank
Required Technical Skills:
-Microsoft Windows Operation systems
-Microsoft Visual Basic .NET or C#
-Microsoft Component Object Model (COM)
-MS Visual Studio (.NET)
-MS SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures & Triggers
-Extensible Markup Language (XML)
-MS Internet Information Server (IIS)
-ASP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript
Other Desired Technical Skills:
-Microsoft Transaction Server, COM+ or .NET Enterprise Services
-Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)
-Microsoft Message Queue Server
-Creation of Web Services
-C++ or Java
-CORBA or DCOM
