SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for managing the testing process & team for Supply Chain & Finance systems to accomplish the following goals:

Establish and maintain testing strategy and proces

Manage resources effectively within the scope of test planning, execution and reporting

Ensure delivery of a stable release that meets business requirements within defined quality levels


Specific Responsibilities:

. Responsible for managing or coordinating all phases of the testing process
. Determine testing scope based on level of changes required and establish quality metrics and KPIs

. Responsible for developing the overall approach, sizing and test plan for Unit, CRP and iCRP phases of testing and for monitoring progress against the plan

. Responsible for managing both fixed and variable testing resources and staffing appropriately to the scope of testing effort

. Responsible for coordination with regional test leads for transition of testing responsibility during iCRP into UAT

. Coordinate activities across all teams to ensure testing phases start on schedule, progress to schedule and that exit/entrance criteria are met

. Ensure adherence to testing methodology and quality targets

. Work with Internal/External Audit to provide information, data and documentation as required

. Ensure that quality criteria is sufficient and appropriate given business requirements and standards

. Manage Test Review Board meetings

. Responsible for Daily Reporting and Overall Management Communication

. Ensure adherence to company IT policy and specifically SDLC/PMLC (System Delivery Life Cycle/Project Management Life Cycle) process for required deliverables and documentation

. Keep current with testing methodology and best practices from an industry and internal to Avon perspectiveRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS

3 years or more managing testing and/or QA functions in a matrixed and geographically dispersed organization

Experience working in a disciplined SDLC/PMLC type environment

Working knowledge of MS Project for managing tasks and resources on large projects

Excellent communication and organization skills

Capable of independently leading testing function and team on large projects

Ability to work well with people from different disciplines, both IT and business, and to communicate effectively is critical.

Customer service orientation is essential to ensure solutions address clients business objectives and priorities are aligned with key business goals.
