Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end components for a front-office risk reporting application
- Design and develop front-end application components and controls
- Quickly and efficiently implement functionality and conduct testing, utilizing .net-related technologies
- Understand business needs and deliver goal-oriented solutions
- Prepare architectural design documents and proposals
- Support and maintain existing application and components
Requirements:
- A high level of architectural and development
- Minimum 3 years of programming experience
- Minimum 2 years of win forms GUI development in C#
- Proven hands-on development and support of distributed computing environments.
- Strong grasp of techniques and strategies for performance tuning, optimization and debugging code.
- Experience in developing multi-threaded UI solutions in .Net
- Demonstrable, hands-on object-oriented design skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills a must
- Familiarity with Java and WebLogic is a plus
- Recent experience in financial firm with knowledge of fixed income products preferred
