BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T’s Consumer Credit Risk division, the MIS Analyst III would analyze data pertaining to department, developing spreadsheets/reports and making recommendations for submission to management. RESPONSIBILITIES:Creates and maintains complex datasets from a variety of disparate sources that are used in creation of advance modelsResponsible for reporting and database maintenance and development/programming of complex reports and spreadsheetsParticipates and works as a team member/leader on various departmental projectsConducts and completes research on a timely and ad hoc basis for various departmental projectsMay be a LAN administratorBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or above in Information Systems or Finance or have 5 years experience in related environmentMinimum of seven years experience in the Information Systems fieldThorough knowledge of MS Office and SAS modelingExpert in PC or mainframe programming, development and/or implementationExcellent written and verbal communication skills to present to a target audienceIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Thorough knowledge of mainframe applicationsMBA preferred
