Work Authorization: US Citizens, Green Card Holders Work type: PermanentProject Description. This position will be called upon to install, enhance, trouble shoot and repair various telephony equipment and facilities. . This will require a hands-on knowledge of telephony, including dial tone, key systems and PBXs (preferably Avaya and/or Nortel phone switches) and voice wiring.Project Responsibilities. This position will, under direction from Headquarters, install, enhance, trouble shoot and repair various data communications facilities and equipment. . This will include Ethernet switches, data routers, data wiring and the ability to set up networking equipment for remote dial-in configuration. . Employee will be required to travel extensively in the Northeast to support facilities. . While travel to any company location employee may be required - the primary offices supported will be: New York, NY, Boston, MA, Conshohocken, PA and Bernardsville, NJ.* We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this opportunity, and are also unable to work on a corp-to-corp or 1099 basis.
Experience: Required Skills and Experience. Understand facilities such as DIA, PRI circuits and Net-VPN or MPLS Networks.. This position will be required to perform at high levels with limited supervision and mostly remote or third party support.. Computer knowledge includes, Microsoft Office, Windows 2000 & XP, as well as basic PC installation is required.. Depending upon the project, this position will be required to function as the hands-on participant but may need to act as technical site coordinator when working with third party resources or on large endeavors.. This position will be required to communicate and work with both end users and vendors in the successful completion of the support effort.
