This 6 month+ project will kick off in May/June time frame.Position Description:The Customer Engineer is the owner of customer incidents as assigned. In this role you will make minor repairs and replace components on basic level equipment such as PCs, workstations and peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, basic maintenance on ATMs and kiosks, and single pocket proof encoders. You will also assist in site preparation--including installation of cable, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment. You may also perform required modular swaps and unit replacements or perform preventative maintenance services. You will be responsible for responding to all customer concerns or problems by resolving them or by escalating them to the proper associate, team member, territory manager, or the Control Tower. Experience: Basic Qualifications:- Two year degree in electronics or computer technology preferred- Two to four years hands-on POS/ATM and/or mechanical and/or PC repair (e.g. hardware or network) experience in a customer field environment required- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts and on-call- Must have a valid drivers' license- Must pass a comprehensive background check including credit check, driving record, and drug screen.- Must have a GED or High School diploma
