• Work with Application Development, UNIX and DBA management and staff on full life-cycle of in-house development projects, understanding the project goals and contributing to its success.
<br> <p>&#149; Manage staff: ensure appropriate utilization and productivity, participate in evaluations, interviews, and staff development of both technical and soft skills.<br> <p>
&#149; Support the overall design and development of the data integration architecture of the project.<br> <p>
&#149; Review and approve data architecture project deliverables in order to ensure compliance with Architectural Standards.<br> <p>
&#149; Determine data integration server capacity impact.<br> <p>
&#149; Review and approve logical and physical data Integration models and approve code compliance to the physical design.<br> <p>
&#149; Create and contribute to project testing, documentation and deployment activities.<br> <p>
&#149; Map source-to-target elements, design and develop transformation processes to load data from source to target, develop and tune ETL mappings and sessions.<br> <p>
&#149; Code and document scripts, AutoSys jobs and stored procedures.
<br> <p>&#149; Design and implement data staging methods, perform data cleansing and data validation functions.
<br> <p>&#149; Performance and tuning of ETL tool for parallel loads and cache optimization and diagnosing/ resolving throughput issues.<br> <p>
&#149; Creative and proactive - exhibit enthusiasm for project goals and take ownership of deliverables.
&#149; Maintain corporate IT database standards in a way that&#146;s not an impediment to deliverables.
<br> <p>&#149; Creating and maintaining project plans of DBA staff needed for projects. <br> <p>
<br> <p>&#149; Work with the teams in all phases (design, development, deployment, maintenance support) to ensure logical, stable, and well performing systems. <br> <p>
Experience: Requirements:<br> <p>

&#149; Very Strong Informatica design and development skills.
<br> <p>&#149; Highly technical candidate with practical hands on experience performing architectural assessments, performance tuning, and diagnosing throughput issues in a Data Warehouse environment.
&#149; DBA skills in the design and development area (PL/SQL, administrating all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures).
<br> <p>&#149; A high degree of proficiency and effectiveness in both written and verbal communications abilities. <br> <p>
&#149; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in both formal and informal settings, with customers and management. <br> <p>
&#149; Ability to perform impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects. <br> <p>
&#149; Ability to troubleshoot problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.<br> <p>
&#149; Strong organizational, project management and planning skills in order to plan DBA portion of development efforts with matrixed staff and meet objectives in a timely fashion. <br> <p>
&#149; Recognizable leadership skills in order to effect change.
<br> <p>&#149; Negotiation and customer service skills in order to navigate occasionally competing objectives.<br> <p>
&#149; A strong ability to improve process and improve staff performance through motivation and mentoring.
<br> <p>&#149; Occasional off hour support is required.

Experience: <br> <p>

&#149; Bachelor&#146;s or Masters degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems Management.
<br> <p>&#149; 7 plus years working experience in Oracle Database. <br> <p>
&#149; 5 plus years of data integration project experiences performing ETL architecture, design and development activities.
<br> <p>&#149; 5 plus years of hands-on project experience with Informatica PowerCenter, 7.1/ 8.1/ 8.5
&#149; Minimum 2 years experience with Informatica Data Quality and Power Exchange.<br> <p>
&#149; Strong working knowledge of Power Exchange for static data retrieval and change data capture.<br> <p>
&#149; Experience with PowerCenter Web Services integration is a plus.<br> <p>
&#149; Experience with Complex Data Exchange is a plus.
<br> <p>&#149; Informatica certification is desirable.<br> <p>
&#149; 2+ years in a similar role as this with a proven track record or success and improvement.<br> <p>
&#149; Experience in designing error and exception handling procedures to identify, record, report and fix errors.<br> <p>
&#149; Work experience in an environment supporting a majority of custom, in-house development and working with a large set of developers.
Some experience with larger, three-tier, Java based enterprise systems.<br> <p>
