The Media Technology group of McGraw-Hill Education/School Solutions Group has an immediate opening for a Sr. Producer in Reading/Language Arts to work in-house on a full-time project basis. Responsibilities: Individual will assist in the direction, development, and production of media/technology projects. Manage vendor relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and compliance with project specifications. Communicate problem areas as necessary. Execute projects on time and on budget. Analyze project proposals and develop implementation plan, using a market-focused strategy. Manage vendor contracts and invoicing on assigned projects. Ensure that permissions issues are cleared prior to product launch. Manage all costs to ensure that project meets budget target. Communicate any potential problems to manage expectations within assigned business unit. Assist in solving programming and design issues that may jeopardize schedules. Some staff management may be required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree is required Must posses 3-5 years of publishing or media/technology development experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. Strong ability to operate independently to see projects through to completion. Should have experience with software, website, and/or CD-ROM development/production (or equivalent). Experience with the Educational software and/or K-12 school marketplace is a plus. Must be proficient in project management and Microsoft office product suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
