BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T's Technology Infrastrucure division, the Performance Testing Analyst would be responsible for coding performance test scripts and executes testing of applications for functionality, regression and stress/performance testing.RESPONSIBILITIES:Codes performance test scripts and executes testing of applications for functionality, regression and stress/performance testing.Assist with the creation of test plans and provides expertise in analysis test results.Effectively communicate performance test findings and reviews with management/client for areas of concern.Manages test related issues and assist in the expedient resolution.Responsible for identifying, tracking, reporting, escalating and resolving any issues identified with the performance test and/ or performance test software.Proven project management experience a plus.Self- motivated individual with a positive attitude, proven track record and a willingness to learn.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:BS degree or equivalent with 4-5 years IT work experience.High technical aptitude with broad range of LAN/WAN experience including Microsoft and Cisco distributed and host- based infrastructure technologies.Proven track record dealing with a variety of technologies with the ability to adapt to new situations quickly.Proven written and verbal communication skills.IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with Quality Assurance Testing tools including Borland or Mercury desirable.Experience with performance/stress testing of web based and client server apps.Exposure to the mainframe environment a plus.Writing and debugging scripts in one or more scripting languages (VB Script, Java Script, Autofit, etc.).
