The Technology Specialist, Digital Media is responsible for creating and maintaining the functionality of the Garden's Content Management Systems. He/She builds and implements content for the Garden's websites. Trains and assists Garden departments on Content Management Systems. Creates web applications for a variety of needs and builds email templates and websites. Ensures consistency throughout the Garden's sites and performs other relevant duties as assigned.
Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred.
* At least three plus (3+) years PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience.
* Should be able to code in other languages.
* At least one plus (1+) years of Unix/Linux experience.
* Ability to code in a text editor required.
* Must be able to multi-task and attention to detail is key.
* Team oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
