In this customer facing role, you will work closely with our Managed Services customers. Your objectives as a Sr. Systems Engineer will include:

. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues; software, connectivity, etc. and can implement solutions
. Provide level III support on most products we deliver

. Maintain test environment
. Provide the latest development information to the support department
. Highly detail oriented
. Troubleshoot problems in real-time and
. Effectively communicate with users and answer support emails
. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and site related features
. Identify and report bugs
. Apply product expertise in recommending solutions to solve customer problems
. Consult with the customer to identify solutions best fit for their business needs
. Perform consulting engagements implementing solutions when necessary
As one of our managed services senior technical engineers you will interface with the customers, recognize the client's business needs, interpret them, and deliver the desired solution.
Requirements/Experience
.Ability to technically troubleshoot server and workstation remotely
.Ability to design, articulate, and present technical solutions to customers
.Working experience of Distributive Systems
.Platform knowledge and experience of the following solutions:
Network Operating Systems
Internetworking
Security
Storage
Server Based Computing
.Certification in the following disciplines:
Microsoft MCSE or MCSA (Required)
Cisco CCNA (Desired but Optional)
Citrix CCEA or CCA (Desired but Optional)
VMWare VCP (Desired but Optional)
.Experience with the following hardware and software technologies:
HP Servers
Symantec BackupExec 10d and above
Symantec AV
McAfee AV and Group Shield
Symantec AV
.Broad understanding of Enterprise Systems
.5-7 years of Information Technology business experience
.Experience in working within a service support team toward accomplishing common goals
. Pre/Post sales support
.Consulting or End User Company Experience
. Business Analyst role (ability to bridge IS & IT function to business requirements)
. Applying IS solutions to improve and optimize business processes
