Genesis10 is seeking a Fixed Income Application Engineer/Technical Analyst for our midtown New York City major investment banking client. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary range of $100-$110K. As the Engineer/Technical Analyst, you will have software development life cycle experience, ability to write technical and business requirements, detail oriented, experience performing QA, and handling deployment on Fixed Income platform.
This is a hybrid role where someone can improve their exposure to fixed income and use several of their technical and business skills. It is not a pure Business Analyst, but someone that can act as a Business Analyst and interact with users.
50% Trade Support (front and back office systems)
30% Business Analysis
20% Development type work (ie. scripting, Excel/VBA, etc.)
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- A deep understanding of fixed income products and some experience specifically with Treasury and Repo Products.
- Hands on skills with Sql Server and Unix with a software development background.
- Application trade support experience in terms of working with both front office traders, back office technology teams and third party vendors.
- Engineering or related degree required.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of the ION platform is VERY helpful, but not required (Anvil or ADP also a plus).
