A well Known Investment Bank in the New York City area is looking for a Technical Project Manager.
Company is looking for a Technical PM with 8+ years experience in brokerage applications. Proven track record for having worked in all aspects of application lifecycle. Must have influenced product development and track record of delivering at least 3 big projects on time and on budget. This is a technical PM role and the individual would be expected to roll up sleeves and contribute technically. N-tier web application development is a must. Should have worked on technically at some in career on one of more server side technologies like J2EE/Spring/MVC/Struts. Should have a good grasp of UI technologies including the newer RIA implementations like AJAX/DOM/DHTML/Javascript. Experience with tools like Flex, TibcoGI, Dojo, ExtJS is a big plus. Should have excellent working knowledge of entitlements and application security. Excellent written and oral skills are a must. Proficient in reporting.
Technical PM will be Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
Experience: Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into technical requirements, design, development, prototyping of application components, performance analysis of key components, deployment solution, work with Architecture team in BDIAS to set the development standards for the team, work with business to finalize requirements.
