Project Management in IT projects in the banking industry

IT Staff supervisory skills.
IT Department management skills.
Development and implementation of IT projects.
Analysis of project feasibility.
Network administration
Desirable Technical Experience:
Installation, configuration and administration of servers Windows 2000/2003. Background in AD, DNS, DHCP, Performance Monitor, policies (GPO) and SUS Server.
Installation and configuration of clients Windows 2000 Pro & XP Pro.
Configuration, implementation and administration on SQL Server 2000/2005 (Backup tools, Query, Analysis, Reporting & Store Procedures).
Knowledge of standard practices on Windows security, SQL Server and networks (fire walls, switches & routers).
Knowledge of Networking.
Knowledge of Unix-AIX.
Experience: Bank accounting and UPS modules (payment systems).
Correspondent banking operation.
Reports to US banks Supervisory Authorities (FRB, NYSBD, amongst others) and US banks regulatory environment.
Knowledge of American IT markets, vendors and suppliers.
Mandatory Background.
Bilingual English and Spanish.
DRP, SAP.
SWIFT, FED, and CHIPS systems.
BSA/AML technology.
Project (ppm).
IT Architecture and Data Models.
Knowledge of a programming language oriented to objects (Java, Visual C, etc.)
Knowledge of US bank regulations.
Personal and General Characteristics.
Experience in managing personnel.
Ability to communicate with coworkers and subordinates.
Availability for domestic and international travel.
Must show strong character, good manners and ability to manage work pressure.
Ability to work in groups.
Must show leadership and institutional loyalty.
Good writing skills for executive reports both in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of IT internal controls and technological risk.
Must show good planning skills. Goal oriented.
