AT-Tech staffing is part of the Howroyd Group of companies, which is the largest privately held staffing organization in the United States. Our client is a well funded start up doing cutting edge developing. They have an immediate need for a UI Designer. Excellent and exciting opportunity for the right candidate.


The primary responsibilities of the User Interface Designer will be to:

- Develop user interface specifications through a collaborative process, which typically include use cases, wireframes, conceptual models, interaction flow diagrams, and navigation diagrams

- Synthesize requirements and input from stakeholders or teams including product management, customers, business analysts, engineering, quality assurance, customer support

- Hands-on involvement in every phase of development

- Help define a style guide and enforce UI standards

- Create interactive, executable prototypes

- Stay abreast of ever-evolving trends and standards and incorporate them on a constant basis

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of knowledge of visual or graphic design principles and 4 years technical experience in user interface design, developing, and maintaining complex business systems in a large distributed environment.

The Candidate shall be expertly skilled with Photoshop, XHTML, JavaScript (DHTML, Object Oriented, and available libraries), CSS 2 & 3, Usability Standards, and W3C Standards as well as familiarity with agile development processes and MVC patterns.

Experience in system analysis and design and the ability to translate business processes and procedures into logical system requirements.

Must have strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with other team members, business partners, and project managers. Must have experience with working on several projects and with many different stakeholder groups concurrently as well as the ability to initiate self-directed revenue generating activities.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science
Scrum Master Certification
Business Analyst Certification
Project Management Certification
Experience in usability engineering and user-centered design
Familiarity with principles of Cognitive Science
