The Computer Merchant is searching for a Consultant who will function as a Project Lead / Lead Analyst. This Project Lead must be comfortable in a mixed technology environment ? i.e. someone who is experienced leveraging Windows/SQL Server; Java based systems, and mainframe components to produce a complete business solution. The Project Lead will be responsible for software development in a distributed architecture. This includes: implementing third party software, developing interfaces, developing data persistence models and objects.
The PL must have at least seven (7) years of relevant working experience, including three years experience developing operationally deployed applications for a production quality web-based service; more than five years as a technology developer, integrator, or consultant in a distributed environment. A solid history of leading on-shore and off-shore development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting technologists is required. Experience working with third party vendors is a strong plus.
The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources, capable of both direct and matrix management; Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management; Must take initiative; Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
Required skillset:
- Microsoft - SQL Server Enterprise 2005
- Microsoft - Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition (.NET & IIS)
- Weblogic Portal
The ideal candidate would also have:
- Experience with SunGard products- Trax, intelliMATCH or Liquidity Manager solutions
- Actuate ver. 9 and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)
- J2EE Application Server
- JAVA IDE platforms and tools
- JAVA Beans (MDB, Session Beans, Servlets)
- MQSeries
- Web - HTML, Javascript, CSS, Struts
-Visual Basic
- XML Skills - XML Schemas, XSDs, XSL and XPath
