DescriptionNYC ContractClient Connectivity Onboarder Position Description The Client Connectivity Services group is looking to recruit a FIX systems integrator to join a team working on a number of exciting and challenging projects supporting the rapidly growing area of client self trading technology. As a member of the Global FIX Client Integration team, you will design, configure, test and support FIX interfaces between clients and internal and external Client electronic trading destinations. You will be responsible for managing complex production trading environments in both equities and fixed income areas and will apply creative solutions to systems and applications issues that arise from clients who push our technology to the limit and beyond. The position involves extensive interaction with our clients, account managers and various Client trading desks to develop technology and business solutions to enable clients to connect and trade electronically. Additional responsibilities include working with APG development teams to translate client demand for functionality into requirement specifications to drive innovation in our FIX product offering, providing 2nd and 3rd level production support and working with 3rd party OMS, Connectivity and Service Bureau vendors to implement and test Client products such as Algorithmic Trading and PassPort. Skills Required Experience with the FIX protocol. A basic understanding of TCP/IP, network infrastructure and firewall. Linux SQL/Sybase Candidate should possess excellent communication and relationship building skills. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player. Good troubleshooting skills, logical thinker, customer focused. Candidate is required to be proactive in resolving immediate problems while balancing the need to keep on track the strategic initiatives. Ability to perform under pressure without losing composure is key. Skills Desired Shell and Perl scripting. Experience working with electronic trading product offerings. Understanding of financial markets including Cash/Futures/Options/FX and securities trading. Experience working on a client facing team. Experience of change control procedures.
