CompuCom is looking for a Helpdesk / Desktop Analyst for a part-time, Contract-To-Hire role located in Ancram, NY. The work location is a papermill and steel toed boots are required. A requested 24 hours a week will be worked and the client is flexible with the hours and days worked. You will be handling a variety of hardware and software support issues. Strong customer services skills are required, as you will be working with technical and non-technical users.
Experience: CUSTOMER SERVICE - interpersonal skills need to be above average, must be flexible and able to effectively communicate with all technical levels of end user population
Familiar with supporting a Citrix environment, including troubleshooting profile issues
Familiar with configuring Wyse Terminals and profiles
Familiarity in working in and supporting an industrial production environment using the Microsoft Suite of applications
Ability to provide smart hands support to the network, security and server teams
Intermediate understanding of network hardware such as servers, routers, switches, AV equipment and wireless
