DescriptionType of position: ContractDuration: 3-6 monthsLocation: New York, NY Looking for someone who has a background in implementing Fixed Income trading and Back Office systems. This person should ideally have Networking/Technical experience as well as Business Analyst skills. The person will work with the networking teams as well as participate in writing test plans, testing interfaces (internal and external) and troubleshooting technical issues. Detailed knowledge of Fixed Income cash and derivatives instruments Experience implementing Fixed Income trading and Back Office systems Experience writing test cases and performing all aspects of testing with external and internal interfaces Enough technical experience to assist in troubleshooting problems related to interfaces to internal and external systems Other skills desired: Good understanding of networking, routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, multicast. Corporate Firewall governance experience Experience working with Network vendors Strong Unix and Windows knowledge and practical working experience Good Project Management & Coordination Skills High Energy for fast-paced environment Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player. Good troubleshooting skills, logical thinker. Strong documentation skills
