A well known financial services company based out of New York City is looking for a UI Designer.

Company is currently seeking an experienced User Interface Sr Design Lead to support the Global Client Access group of Treasury Services (TS), which provides clients worldwide with access to the firm's treasury management applications through multiple online channels.

TS Global Client Access utilizes user-centered design techniques to drive planning, development, and execution of Internet initiatives across Treasury Services. Our mission is to create a world-class product that delights our customers, improves efficiency and inter-operability across the business, and meets or beats the offerings of our global competitors.

The User Interface Sr Design Lead will work with line of business, product management, and technology groups to:

Interview business stakeholders and clients to clearly understand both internal and end user requirements
Translate customer and business requirements and use cases into a customer-centric online experience
Produce site maps, user flows, wireframes, page layouts and functional specification deliverables for hand-off to technology.
Perform usability/heuristic evaluations on business applications
Analyze client feedback and competitive research to develop benchmarks for evaluating designs going forward
Ensure consistency in implementation of future state designs with iterative development of usability and design standards
Oversee planning and execution of usability testing
Evangelize the importance of true usability and user-centered approach to technology design and development
Provide guidance to content managers to define and develop content to support customers' online interactions

Experience: Qualifications

Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including strong interaction design and information architecture
Experience in designing highly usable, client-oriented, and transactional web-based interfaces
Familiarity with current Internet technology approaches (e.g. Web 2.0, portal, content management, entitlements, and user-centered design)
Experience with research methods such as user interviews, surveys and observations, prototyping, card sorting, and persona development
Strong visual design sense, familiarity with branding standards
Ability to manage a staff of 1-2 individuals
Experience working with both senior stakeholders and project team-level members and must be able to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly
