Position Overview:
Top international financial services firm in New York, NY is seeking a highly experienced C# developer to support a team working in credit derivatives, mortgage-backed securities, and collateralized debt obligations. Developer will program technology for risk management, operational workflow, and valuation.
Job Description:
* Senior Developer will be working with new and existing applications to ensure they are compatible with company's models. All regulatory systems are developed on the .NET platform.
* Analyze and develop .NET/VBA/SQL applications.
* Develop MS SQL Server persistence layer including schema changes, stored procedures, and associated VBA.
* Integration with .NET back-end framework
* Perform business & technology requirement analysis.
* Incorporate myriad securitized products data sources.
* Re-write VBA libraries to C#.
* Troubleshoot & debug stored procedures. (experience writing stored procedures not necessary)
Experience: Skill Set:
* Strong financial background - specifically credit derivatives, fixed-income, mortgage-backed securities, and/or collateralized debt.
* At least 4 years developing in C# .NET platforms, NOT ASP.NET.
* Solid SQL database programming knowledge.
* Experience programming in MS Excel/VBA.
* Intex API programming experience would be ideal!
* Good communication skills and ability to function as part of a team under tight deadlines.
* Strong MS dot net exposure.
* DataSynapse is a plus.
