Business and Technical Background? 5-10 years experience dealing in a bank or capital markets organization.? At least 3 years experience in technology projects relating to debt cash trade processing, for treasury, agency, mortgage, money markets and/or corporate securities.? Significant experience defining and documenting business and testing requirements for technology implementations.? Familiarity with message based architectures a plus.? Extensive use of MS Office tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and other desktop tools.Communication/Process Skills? Strong writing skills.? Must be articulate and possess strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to present business requirements to working groups for validation and revision.? Self-starter who feels comfortable independently driving projects involving multiple constituents.? Must feel comfortable interacting with application developers and business partners? Position Description and Key Responsibilities:? The Global Markets Technology group supports the front office trading and sales areas.? As part of the overall Global Markets Technology Strategy, the Debt Straight Through Processing initiative is a top priority for the trading and sales areas. The goal of the program is to automate the processing of debt cash securities, beginning with mortgages and governments, by providing a common infrastructure to process these secondary trading transactions.? The Debt Cash Securities Straight Through Processing Business Analyst will work with the STP program manager, business representatives, and distributed technology development groups to perform cross-product business analysis for the STP program. This may include process analysis, business requirements, functional specifications and testing coordination.? The business analyst will be a member of the Global Markets Technology Strategy team.
