RequirementBusiness Analyst Summary:As a member of the Project Team, the Business Analysts overall responsibilities are to participate in the business analysis required to deliver projects successfully. The Business Analyst will work under the supervision of the project manager or application/technical architect to perform structured analysis on project problem domains.The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities:Provides business expertise and structured analysis methods in the area of financial systems business requirement specification and functional decomposition. Requires a broad knowledge of the securities industry and associated business processes. Requires the ability to perform structured interviews, communicate detailed technical information and develop test plans to insure developed systems perform according to specification. Provides a business process and system function perspective to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:Required Technical experience: Strong data modeling (OO & Relational) skills Strong business process modeling skills (Use Cases, UML) Strong understanding of functional and process domains within the securities industry Strong understanding of systems integration and integration testing methodologies Conceptual understanding of OO and relational design methodology (OOA, OOD) Demonstrated capabilities/skills Must possess a demonstrated ability to document complex user requirements and detailed functional specifications Strong knowledge of the financial services functional domains Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline team Presentation & communications skills Problem-solving capability Experience:5 10 years of professional experience. At least 5 years in the securities industry. Education:BS, MS or PHD from accredited/recognized university
